Fashion Retailer C&A To Open Its First Store In Romania-Sources

C&A already started recruiting personnel for its new store in capital city Bucharest, with the help of consultant Neumann International.

 

C&A has over 1,000 stores in 16 European and 3 Latin American countries, as well as China.

 

The company reported revenues of EUR5.6 billion for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2007, up 8% on the year.

 

Cofra Holding AG, founded in October 2001, is the holding company for a group of companies located in Europe, North and Latin America, and Asia whose activities include retail, real estate, private equity investments and financial services.

 

The group unfolds real estate operations in Romania through developer Redevco, headquartered in Amsterdam.

 

Last year, Redevco said will invest EUR500 million together with Euro Mediterranee Consulting in building 10 commercial centers on the Romanian market.
