Romanian Airline Tarom Flights To Resume Normal Schedule On Thursday
The company assures its passengers that all flights will be operated safely.
According to the press release, all passengers who were not able to travel because of airspace restrictions caused by the volcanic ash plume should contact the travel agencies which issued their tickets. The passengers need to clarify their new travel dates and make bookings according to seats currently available on the company’s flights.
Flights were canceled or rescheduled after national and international authorities restricted air traffic because of the volcanic ash plume produced by the eruption of Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull.
Currently, the airspace of most European countries is completely open. Belgium, Ukraine, The Netherlands and Sweden have only partially opened their airspace as of yet, while the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland and Norway have announced a temporary lift of air traffic restrictions.
