Petrom To Up Gasoline, Diesel Oil Prices By RON0.06/RON0.09 Per Liter

Romania’s oil company Petrom will increase Friday gasoline price by 0.06 lei per liter, and diesel oil prices by 0.08 lei and 0.09 lei per liter, Petrom said Thursday.

"The measure follows an increase of international prices," Petrom said in a statement.

Petrom operates 450 gas stations in Romania, of which 100 stations work according to international quality standards.

Petrom reported total revenue of RON12.98 billion last year, down 6.8% against 2006, while net profit stood at RON1.778 billion, down 22% on the year.
