Romanian Transgaz Gas Transp Tariffs Up 20.35% Jul ’08 – Jun ‘09

The 20.35% hike compared with July 1, 2007 – June 30, 2008, represents RON194.3 million, according to a Transgaz press release.

In the first quarter of the year, Transgaz reported a 14% revenue hike, at RON324 million, and a RON92 million profit, similar with the corresponding period a year earlier.

Gas transport is controlled by the state, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
