Placebo returns to Romania, as promised, for a concert in Bucharest on June 21, organizers One Event said.

At their sold-out concert in Bucharest in 2006, frontman Brian Molko told the cowd of 6,000 "Thank you Bucharest, we will come back soon!"
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 13, cost RON100 to RON175, and will be available at MyTicket.ro, and in the Diverta store network, Muzica store in Bucharest and clubs Control, Fabrica and Fire.
The concert in Bucharest is part of the pan-European tour promoting the band’s future album to be released in June, and fans will have a chance to see the band’s new drummer, Steve Forrest, following the departure of Steve Hewitt in 2007.
The alternative rock band was formed in London in 1994 and has since released five studio albums, six EPs and 27 singles, which sold in over ten million copies worldwide. They also collaborated with legends such as David Bowie, Robert Smith of The Cure and Michael Stipe of REM.
The band is also famous for the different sexual orientations of its members. They achieved worldwide fame when their song "Every You Every Me" was included on the soundtrack of the film "Cruel Intentions" starring Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe.
