This year, the 6/49 lottery jackpot has been won five times: on January 17 (RON3,723,299.12), on March 7 (RON7,156,255.76), on August 29 (RON26,290,040.30) on September 12 (RON1,482,576.36) and on October 3 (RON3,034,602.94)
The biggest jackpot in the history of the Romanian Lottery was of EUR12.45 million and was won on January 27, 2008.
