Arad Police spokesman Camelia Tuduce stated that the workers tearing down the building found seven pistols, nine clips and 282 caliber 7.65 bullets. Officers checked the weapons and found them to be: two 7.6 mm Berettas, a 7.65 caliber “P.MOD.37”, a “Fermaru RT.37M”, a CESKA, a Browning and another pistol of undetermined brand.

Due to their degraded state, officers could not establish any other characteristics of the found weapons. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain how the weapons were concealed and their origin.
