“Policeman, adjective” is the story of a policeman from a city in the country, played by Dragos Bucur. As he investigates a minor case involving a high school pupil, he comes to lose faith in his job.

This comedy was produced early this year in Vaslui, Porumboiu’s home town, which was also the setting of the director’s debut – “12:08 East of Bucharest” -, which received a Camera d’Or at Cannes 2006.

The film’s Romanian premiere will be at the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) taking place between May 29 and June 7 in the Romanian northwester city of Cluj-Napoca.
