German Police Donates Button Cams To Romanian Gendarmerie
The donation was made based on the Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe, and the contract was signed, in the ceremony held Thursday, by Michael Lange, liaison officer for the German Federal Police in Bucharest, and by general Costica Silion, inspector general of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
The new technology can be used especially for the documenting of actions unfolded at sports events, according to a press release issued by the Romanian Gendarmerie.
The total value of the equipment donated reaches EUR13,000. The equipment includes: three camcorders, one professional video camera, two photo cameras, one camera concealed in a pair of glasses, two camera concealed in buttons and one color printer.
