Preventive Arrest For Romanian Cop Cristian Cioaca On E-Mail Violation Charges

The Romanian High Court of Justice decided the preventive arrest, for 29 days, of Cristian Cioaca in the case where he is charged with violating the e-mail address of his wife, lawyer Elodia Ghinescu.

At the same time, the court decided that Cioaca’s alleged accomplice is not allowed to leave the country.

Cioaca on Wednesday managed to evade the arrest warrant requested by the prosecutors investigating the file in which Cioaca is charged with allegedly murdering his wife, lawyer Elodia Ghinescu.

However, this time Cioaca is not charged with murder, but with illegally accessing Elodia’s e-mails on her personal computer, which he made public afterward in an attempt to prove that Elodia was far from being “the perfect wife.”
