Romanian President Woos German Investors With “Large Privatization” Outlook

Asked about the areas where Romania would like to draw German investment, Basescu said it’s no secret Romania will enter a large privatization process.

„Surely we are greatly interested in the involvement of German investors in the privatization, given the German experience and technology for the use of coal on the energy segment, as well as the quality of the German railroad,” Basescu said.
