The draft decision amends the list of drugs available on prescription through the social health insurance system, restricting the prescription of Epoetin alfa, Epoetin beta and Erdosteine for treatment as stated in their sale authorization only.

The list was amended on the recommendation of experts from the British National Institute for Health and Clinical Excelence (NICE).

The draft ministerial order changes the maximum duration of hospitalization for all illnesses to the average duration reported last year.
