„The Prime Minister asked the ministers to begin restructuring the public bodies soon, pointing out that they can change the organizational charts through emergency decrees, unless the law calls for a Government Decision,” the sources said.

According to the sources, the layoffs may exceed 25% of the number of employees in some institutions.

The Government has recently decided each ministry will have maximum two state secretaries and exceptions will only be allowed for „large” ministries, such as the ministries of interior and foreign affairs, which will keep three state secretaries.
