The agency’s president, who will also be chairman of the board, named officials with the Economy, Interior and Foreign Affairs ministries, Romanian Intelligence Service and nuclear station operator Nuclearelectrica to replace the former directors.

Under the law, the Nuclear Agency is run by a board of directors made up of nine members working with ministries that manage and operate activities in the nuclear sector.
