E.ON Gaz Romania, Distrigaz Sud Ask For 10% Gas Price Hike Oct 1

ANRE sources said the authority will analyze the gas distributors’ requests and, although it did not plan to hike prices in October, a final decision will be made after establishing all factors triggering a possible gas price increase.

In its most recent adjustment, the Romanian energy watchdog increased household gas prices by an average 12.5% on July 1.

At that time, the two companies said the 12.5% gas price hike announced by ANRE covers only part of their costs and that they will ask for a new gas price increase as of October 1.
