Romania’s BCR Changes Customer Operations Working Hours As Of Jul 14

All the bank’s branches will open at 9, instead of the current 8.30, and clients will have access to banking services until 6.30 pm at the latest, depending on the branch’s size.

Medium-sized branches will stay open until 6 pm, in general, while some will stay open until 5.30 pm, as all BCR’s small-sized branches.

On Saturdays, BCR will open its large units, half its medium-units and a few small units which generally register a significant number of customer operations.

Braches located in shopping centers will comply with the centers’ working hours.

The new working hours will also apply to newly-established branches, depending on size.

BCR is the largest lender in Romania, with assets topping EUR17.5 billion.
