Prosecutors Hear Nearly 25 Romanian Youngsters On Alleged Internet Fraud

Nearly 25 young people appeared Wednesday before the prosecutors of the Valcea Department for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism and the police officers with the Brigade Fighting Organized Crime to answer questions targeting suspicion of Internet auction fraud, judiciary sources said.

Prosecutors Hear Nearly 25 Romanian Youngsters On Alleged Internet Fraud

The same sources said the suspects were called for hearings following thorough checkups at their homes.
 
The suspects allegedly swindled people from Romania, Austria and the USA via fake Internet auctions, which brought them hundreds of thousands of euros.
Following hearings, prosecutors will decide whether to request arrest warrants.
