Two heads of the Bucharest underworld were placed on the generally wanted list for evading prosecution, after border police and organized crime prosecutors have clear evidence they are involved in an international drug dealing case.

According to the general border police inspectorate, the two organized a transport of 3.2 kilograms of heroine from Turkey to Romania, and the drugs were to be sold in Bucharest.
 
Mid-March, Marius Catalin P., 22, from Bucharest was eyed by police while planning to bring over 3 kg of heroine into Romania. At that time, police found three candy wrappers in the man’s bags, filled with 3.2 kg of heroine. The man was traveling as passenger aboard a bus coming from Turkey.
 
Police extended their investigation and established the man is part of a criminal drug dealing group. The man was the “carrier” and admitted he transported the drugs in exchange for protection for members of the Bucharest underworld. He was to give the drugs to another two Romanian citizens, Petre Lautaru, 53, and Viorel Tutu,32, also known as "Viorel Dinaur". The two are known as members of the Bucharest underworld and Lautaru has a criminal record and is supposed to serve jail time for theft.
 
Because Lautaru and Tutu flee prosecution, arrest warrants were issued on their names for high risk drug trafficking.
