Boc said the program would be debated in Parliament Monday. Also Monday, the Parliament is expected to vote on the new Cabinet.

According to the working draft, the new government plans to ensure economic stability in the country, protect jobs and maintain the existing flat tax at 16%.

The program’s core lines include a multi-annual state budget, decentralization, reforms in education, healthcare and justice fields, as well as tourism promotion.

The 2009-2012 governing program includes 29 chapters drawn up according to ten key principles, such as government integrity, transparency, responsibility toward the Romanian Parliament, equality and non-discrimination.

Chapters 1 and 2 present the current economic background, both local and international, as well as proposed measures to counter the effects of the global crisis.

The government’s program includes measures to be taken in all social, cultural and economic fields, as well as administrative measures.

It also includes an annex for macroeconomic indicators projected for the 2009-2012 period.
