European Consumers Can Change Telecom Providers In Only One Day
Marian Zlotea Sunday presented a law package in the field of telecommunications initiated by European Commissioner for Information Society and Media, Viviane Reding, which was launched for debates in the European Parliament.
The law package includes the setting up of a European telecommunications authority to secure equal opportunities for all competitors in the field and protect consumers in all EU member states.
This new Authority will mainly focus on issues involving competition and network security, while its first target consists in aligning the management of the radio frequency spectrum for broadband telecom services to the best standards.
Zoltea stressed that the new legislation in the field of telecommunications will ensure new rights and advantages for the Romanian consumers and it will also provide the best telecom services at advantageous prices for both Romanians and EU member states.
