Electoral Campaign For Local Polls in Romania Officially Starts May 2

The law says candidates should organize campaign-related activities during this period, and they will all benefit, without discrimination, from proper locations to meet voters.

Electoral posters and radio-TV shows are also allowed during this period.

Candidates, political parties, political alliances, electoral alliances and citizens, they all have the right to freely express their opinions during the electoral campaign, without discrimination, by means of rallies, assemblies, TV and radio shows.

The Central Electoral Office (BEC) compiled a list of items allowed in the campaign: posters, fliers, postcards, pictures, lighters, calendars, mugs, paper notebooks, pens, caps, t-shirts, scarves.
