Dacia’s market share in France decreased from 5.3% to 4.1% in the first quarter.
In the top car models sold in France, Dacia ranks 11th with 13,500 Duster models, 14th with 10,120 Sandero models and 48th with 2,900 Logan cars.
The top spots by car model are filled by Peugeot 207/206+ (55,700 registrations), Renault Clio (48,726 registrations) and Renault Megane (38,564 registrations).
On the light utility vehicle segment, Dacia sales decreased 12.2%, to 1,405 units, accounting for 1.27% of the total.
By carmakers, the ranking is led by PSA Peugeot Citroen (220,175 new registrations, up 11.9%), Renault (165,149 registrations, down 1.6%) and Volkswagen (72,370 registrations, up 20.2%).
A total 647,552 new cars were registered in France on the first quarter, compared to 594,720 units in the first quarter of 2010.
