Culture Minister Kelemen Hunor called on the Government Wednesday to allot extra 1.2 million lei (EUR1=RON4.0984) to the ministry’s budget to recover several stolen Dacian artifacts.

According to the sources, the objects were identified and recovered by German authorities last year and the Government has one year (until April 15) to exercise its preemptive right over the objects.

According to a report by the ministry, the gold bracelet completes a set of 12 Dacian gold bracelets stolen and recovered by Romania.
