Romania’s Rompetrol To Cut Gas, Diesel Oil Pump Prices By RON0.05, RON0.03 Per Liter

Romania’s second-largest oil company Rompetrol Group NV, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, will cut Friday its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.05 lei (EUR1=RON3.6140) per liter, and RON0.03 per liter, respectively, the company said in a statement.

As of Friday, Rompetrol will cut its Premium Euro 4 gasoline price to RON3.75 per liter. One liter of Efix 95 gasoline will cost RON3.80, while one liter of unleaded Euro Super 98 will cost RON4.43.
 
The company will cut its Efix Diesel price to RON4.09 per liter and the Super Euro 5 price to RON4.38 per liter.  
 
The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol announced.
 
Also, the country’s largest vertically integrated oil company Petrom (SNP.RO), owned by Austria’s OMV (OMV.VI), will cut its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by RON0.09 per liter as of Friday.
