The consortium Goldman Sachs/UniCredit CA IB Securities ranked second with a total of 68.6 points, followed by Nomura/Alpha with 67.7 points and Raiffeisen Capital&Investments/Morgan Stanley.
Romania plans to reduce its stake in Petrom to 10.8% from 20.6% currently in a deal estimated at EUR510 million, the highest transaction ever on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Petrom, majority owned by Austria’s OMV AG (OMV.VI), is the largest gas and oil producer in southeast Europe.
Monday, Petrom closed down 1.18% at RON0.419 a share in Bucharest.
