"It is only natural for us to have high hopes and expectations. The latest opinion polls indicate that 25% of the electorate is determined to back us at the European Parliament elections and maybe the percentage is even higher in certain areas across the country. The leftist Social-Democratic Party, or PSD, holds the best electoral “machinery” and it proved it at previous elections,” Pascu said Saturday in a press conference in Romania’s northern city of Satu Mare.
