The production line will be restarted at the end of February, Diana Gligor, the spokesperson of Kronospan Sebes said in a press release. The company did not specify the reasons leading to the production halt.

On the other hand, Kronospan restarted its particle board production line, which was temporarily closed in January.

Kronospan Sebes has not been significantly affected by the recent financial turmoil, but rather by the cease in construction projects, according to the company’s management.

Austrian company Kronospan bought in 2004 from Italian group MD Fratti the two factories in the central Romanian town of Sebes.
