Romanian Taxi Law Norms Enter Force

"As announced in the previous week, within talks held with taxi drivers present at the Ministry, the Ministry leadership approved and sent for publishing, in the Official Gazette, the Norms for the Application of Law 265/2007 – the Law on taxi driving," said a press release issued by the Ministry.

The Norms were published in Official Gazette no. 820 on December 3, according to the quoted source.

In the development of the Norms, the Ministry held several talks with unions and owners on this segment, the document being subject to public debate in the second half of October.
