Rosin, who was assigned by the National Blood Transfusion Institute as representative with international relations, said on Friday Romania has become part of the European Haemovigilance Network.

“Romania is to receive an aid worth several thousand euros to set up its domestic haemovigilance network and will also receive logistics support coming from the European Union, “doctor Rosin said.

The official said that local legislation in the matter is already applied in Romania but added the country lacks a National Haemovigilance Commission that could coordinate the local branches.
