Romanian Car Mkr Dacia Launches Revamped Sandero – „Stepway”

Romanian car maker launched Wednesday, in Romania, a new version of the Sandero model, called Sandero Stepway, with the 1.6-liter 90 hp engine version costing EUR9,200, VAT included.

Orders will be taken starting June 23.

Sandero Stepway can also come with a 1.5-liter and 70 hp diesel engine, at a price of EUR10,400, VAT included.

The new Sandero Stepway differs from the standard Sandero through design and the suspension, which is two centimeters higher.

The car can also be bought through the national car park renewal program, according to Dacia officials.

Romania is the first country to see the new Sandero Stepway. The car will soon be available in all European states where Dacia has exports.

To make the Sandero Stepway, Dacia-Renault invested EUR2.5 million in the plant at Mioveni, southern Romania.
