Romania Fiscal Auth To Expand Online Application Sys To 22 Counties Nationwide
Romania’s fiscal regulator ANAF on Monday proposed expanding the online fiscal statement application system to 22 counties nationwide and recommended the list of online contributors should include additional categories of taxpayers.

The enlarged list should include all taxpayers compelled to submit fiscal statements on their dues to the state consolidated budget, on tax on profit, discounts and special VAT discounts, revised statements and excise discounts, ANAF said in a draft act.
In addition, online fiscal statement application should be available to 22 counties, including capital city Bucharest, ANAF said.
The list of the counties includes Alba, Bacau, Bihor, Botosani, Brasov, Braila, Buzau, Cluj, Covasna, Giurgiu, Iasi, Ilfov, Maramures, Olt, Satu Mare, Salaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timis, Tulcea and Valcea.
In July 2007, ANAF said all Romanian companies will be able to submit online fiscal statements as of second half this year.
