Romania Issues Code Orange Weather Advisory For S, SE

The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has updated the snowfall and blizzard advisory issued on February 2, which will remain in effect until Sunday 6 p.m. In addition, rain and sleet are expected in the regions of Muntenia, Dobrogea and southern Moldavia, and it will snow in the rest of the country.

The code yellow might be extended Sunday, but weather data do not indicate major changes until February 8 that should pose a concern to the public, said ANM director Ion Sandu.
