Romania, Italy To Hold Bilateral Govt Summit In Rome

Romanian Premier Calin Popescu Tariceanu on Thursday arrived in Italy’s capital Rome to co-chair a bilateral summit together with his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi.

The Romanian delegation includes ministers of foreign affairs, interior, finance, justice, labor, culture, education and tourism, as well as former finance minister Sebastian Vladescu, as Tariceanu’s “special guest.”

On Wednesday, Tariceanu told a cabinet meeting that he plans to rebuild the image of the Romanian community in Italy at the bilateral summit.
