Romania June PPI +0.4% On Month, +6.2% On Year
Romania’s industrial producer price index rose for the sixth consecutive month in June, fueled largely by increases in the mining and manufacturing sectors, the National Statistics Institute said Tuesday.

Industrial prices inched up 0.4% in June, after a 1.3% increase in May.
By sector, prices in the mining industry increased 1.8% on the month in June, while manufacturing and utilities prices were up 0.5% and 0.4% on the month respectively. Energy prices nudged down 0.5% in June from a month earlier.
In annual terms, industrial prices rose 6.2% in June, boosted by higher prices in all activity sectors.
Manufacturing prices increased 7% in June from the year-earlier month, while prices in the utilities and mining sectors were up 6.2% and 3.8% on the year respectively. Energy prices rose 2.9% on the year.
