Romania Launches Forbes Edition In March ‘09

Forbes Romania will have 60% Romanian content, and 40% international content, taken over from the American editions of the Forbes magazine.

The Romanian edition will be the only one issued bimonthly, like the American one. The other international editions come out once a month.

As of 2009, the annual publication “Adevarul – 500 Billionaires” will be taken over by the Forbes brand, and will thus be called “Forbes – 500 Billionaires”.

"The opportunity to launch our brand in Romania is an honor for Forbes. This is the first edition to appear bimonthly,” head of Forbes Television and Licensing Miguel Forbes said.

"Bringing Forbes in Romania is still another exam of the plan of Adevarul Holding to become the most important publisher in Romania. This partnership is the result of the substantial investments that have been made in the last two years,” said Razvan Corneteanu, general manager of Adevarul Holding.

Forbes magazine is the most famous publication of the Forbes publishing house, which is issued bimonthly.

The magazine is famous for the lists it publish annually, including Forbes 400 – Richest Americans, Forbes Global 2000 – 2,000 corporate titans and world’s richest 100 people.

The magazine has over 5 million readers across the globe, and is translated into eight languages.
