Romania Not To Endorse Independent Kosovo-PM

Romania will not acknowledge Kosovo’s move for independence, as it has serious reserves on how the province might obtain its independence, as well as on possible consequences in the Balkans, Premier Calin Popescu Tariceanu said.

Tariceanu attended on Friday morning the works of the European Liberal Democratic Party ahead of the European Council meeting.

The officials in Brussels are expected to adopt a joint position regarding Kosovo’s likely declaration of independence from Serbia.
