Romania Promoted As Tourist Destination On CNN, Euronews, Eurosport

The Romanian Tourism Ministry has started a campaign to promote Romania as a tourist destination on three international television channels, CNN, Euronews and Eurosport, which will broadcast for one year three videos showcasing the East European country.

The promotion campaign costs EUR4.96 million, VAT included, and is financed with non-reimbursable European funds.

Media Investment Communication will provide publicity services.

The ministry said in a press release Tuesday the campaign’s main objective is to promote Romania’s tourist brand in order to create a positive image of the country as tourist destination, make Romania known worldwide and increase the number of tourists.
