Romania’s Ambassador to Paris Theodor Baconschi might be nominated for the country’s foreign affairs minister, people closed to the matter told MEDIAFAX Saturday.

Baconschi neither confirmed nor denied the rumor.
Foreign Affairs Ministry secretary of state Bogdan Aurescu was also rumored as possible nomination for foreign affairs minister.
Baconschi was President Traian Basescu's counselor, ex-secretary of state with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Romania's former Ambassador to Portugal and the Vatican.
Democrat liberals and the Hungarian minority party Friday announced their nominations for the country's future ministers, and four ministries, namely Justice, Foreign Affairs, Defense and Finance, will be led by representatives of the independent MP group.
The approved democrat liberal minister list is as follows: Vasile Blaga - the Interior Ministry, Adriean Videanu - the Economy Ministry, Radu Berceanu - the Transport Ministry, Elena Udrea - the Tourism and Regional Development Ministry, Gabriel Sandu - the Communications Ministry, Catalin Croitoru - the Education, Youth and Sports Ministry, Orest Onofrei - the Agriculture Ministry, Mihai Seitan - the Labor Ministry.
The Hungarian minority party's approved minister list includes: Marko Bela - Deputy Prime Minister, Kelemen Hunor - the Culture Ministry, Laszlo Borbely - the Environment Ministry, Attila Cseke - the Health Ministry.
Gabriel Oprea was proposed for defense minister on behalf of the independent MP group and former liberal Sebastian Vladescu was proposed for the country's finance minister.
Prime Minister Emil Boc said the government list and program might be submitted to Parliament Sunday.
