Romanian Train Traffic Schedule Changes Sunday

According to the passenger division of the national railroad company, CFR Calatori, the new schedule will be applied starting with December 13, until December 11, 2010.

The traveling duration of most trains was increased by 10 to 50 minutes to remove discrepancies between traveling schedule times and real times, considering the state of the railway infrastructure, according to CFR Calatori representatives.

The new schedule includes 1,728 passenger trains, compared to 1,624 in the old schedule.

According to the company, the new schedule maintains traditional routes „which are used frequently by clients of this type of transportation.

For international traffic, there are now direct trains towards Vienna, Budapest, Sofia, Salonika, Chisinau, Moscow, Istanbul, Munich, Venice and Belgrade.
