Romania’s Govt Approves Construction Of New Multipurpose Sports Center For RON260M

The Romanian Government approved the construction of a multipurpose sports center in capital Bucharest by 2013, which will seat 16,000 people and cost 260 million lei (about EUR60 million).

The new sports center will be built near the Lia Manoliu national stadium. Construction works will start in 2011 and will last three years.

The project will be financed with funds from the state budget, through the Ministry of Development, according to a Government decision published in the Official Journal.
