Romania’s OMV Petrom To Raise Pump Prices By Up To RON0.04/Liter

Romania’s largest oil company OMV Petrom (SNP.RO) will raise Tuesday its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.04 lei (EUR1=RON4.2326) and RON0.02 per liter, respectively, the company said Monday in a statement.

Thus, as of Tuesday, one liter of unleaded Premium gasoline will cost RON4.43, while one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99+ will be bought with RON4.81 per liter.

One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will cost RON4.57 and RON5.23, respectively.

The OMV Premium Diesel will be bought with RON4.92 per liter, while one liter of OMV Sprint Diesel will cost RON4.6 per liter as of Tuesday.

The price of Euro Diesel and Top Euro Diesel will rise Tuesday to RON4.38 per liter and RON4.58 per liter, respectively.

Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was taken over by Austria’s OMV AG (OMV.VI).
