Number Of Tourists Staying In Romania Dn 4.3% YY

In the first half of 2010, the number of tourists staying in Romania dropped 3.7% compared to the same interval of 2009.

Romanian tourists account for 76.3%, while foreign tourists for 23.7%, similar with the same period a year before.

The number of foreign tourists that entered Romania in June was 3.1% lower on the year, at 685,500, mostly coming from Europe, namely 92.9%.

The number of Romanian tourists travelling abroad fell 16.2% to 951,300 in June, compared with the same month of 2009.
