Mircea Geoana, head of Romania’s leftist opposition Social-Democratic Party (PSD), estimated his party would win 40% of Parliament seats in the future legislative elections.

Geoana also accused the ruling liberal government of failing to include women in its cabinet, stressing his party will be more than willing to welcome women aboard the future government it hopes to be part of.

Thus, Geoana urged the women in his party to get ready for high positions within the central structures.
