Romania’s News Agency Mediafax Receives Award During Business Superbrands Gala

Romania’s largest news agency Mediafax, newspaper Ziarul Financiar and Business Magazin were awarded Wednesday evening within the Business Superbrands Gala during a ceremony that paid homage to the most valuable brands in the Romanian industry.

“I wish to thank you for this recognition in the name of Mediafax’s 400 employees. The prize comes as a reward for the hard work that started 16 years ago to build a powerful brand on the media market,” said Cristian Dimitriu, general manager of the agency.

The Business Superbrands Council 2007 selected the winners for this year’s gala. The council has 24 members, representative people in the Romanian business environment.

Business Superbrands is the instrument that identifies and honors the exceptional brands on the business segment of the Romanian market. The members of the Business Superbrands Council 2007 individually evaluated 2300 brands, both Romanian and international, from 46 categories in different activity sectors, according to the Superbrands methodology.

This year, organizers chose the winners based on criteria such as reputation & prestige, quality, trust and market awareness.

The Superbrands organization was set up in 1995 in Great Britain and has 73 branches worldwide.
