Also, the gross average salary fell 0.8% on the month in November, to RON1,866.

The average net salary in November was up 0.4% compared with the same month of 2008.

The salary decrease was due to the cut of certain bonuses and salary rights, lower activity, and the granting of certain bonuses in the previous month.

Employees in brokerage sector saw the biggest average net salaries, at RON3,426, while the hotels and restaurants industry employees were at the opposite pole with RON771.

November net average salary in agriculture was down 0.3% on the month to RON997, while the employees in the energy sector saw a 0.7% salary decrease on the month in November, to RON2,487.

Net salaries in industry averaged RON1,327 in November, down 0.1% from October.
