Romania’s Petrom Cuts Gas, Diesel Oil Pump Prices

On Monday, Petrom cut the gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by RON0.06 per liter.

 

For now, the unleaded Premium 95 and the unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasolines cost RON3.75 and RON4.08 per liter, respectively. One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 can be bought with RON3.85, and RON4.48, respectively.

 

The Top Euro Diesel 5 and Euro Diesel 5 cost now RON3.61 and RON3.48 per liter, respectively, while the OMV Sprint Diesel and OMV Premium Diesel are sold with RON3.66 and RON3.94 per liter.

 

Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was privatized and became a part of OMV AG (OMV.VI), which is the majority shareholder.
