Romania’s Petrom Cuts Pump Prices By RON0.03/Liter
Romania’s largest oil company Petrom (SNP.RO) Monday cut its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.03 lei (EUR1=RON4.2434) per liter, the company said.

Thus, one liter of unleaded Premium gasoline costs RON3.74 as of Monday, while the unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasoline can be bought with RON4.11 per liter.
One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will be sold for RON3.88, and RON4.51, respectively.
Diesel oils Top Euro Diesel 5 and Euro Diesel 5 cost now RON3.64 and RON3.48 per liter, respectively, while the OMV Sprint Diesel and OMV Premium Diesel are sold with RON3.69 and RON3.97 per liter.
Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was privatized and became a part of OMV AG (OMV.VI), which is the majority shareholder.
On Thursday, Petrom cut its diesel oil prices by RON0.03 per liter, after reducing both the diesel oil price and the gasoline price just the day before by another RON0.03/liter.
