Romania’s Petrom Hikes Pump Prices By Up To RON0.09/Liter
Romania’s largest oil company Petrom (SNP.RO) Tuesday rose its gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by 0.09 lei (EUR1=RON4.2096) and RON0.06 per liter, respectively, due to the evolution of the international quotations of crude oil products.

Thus, one liter of unleaded Premium gasoline costs RON3.81 as of Tuesday, while the unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasoline can be bought with RON4.18 per liter.
One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will be sold for RON3.95, and RON4.58, respectively.
Diesel oils Top Euro Diesel 5 and Euro Diesel 5 cost now RON3.67 and RON3.51 per liter, respectively, while the OMV Sprint Diesel and OMV Premium Diesel are sold with RON3.72 and RON4 per liter.
Petrom is the largest corporation in Romania and the largest gas and oil producer in Southeastern Europe. In December 2004, Petrom was privatized and became a part of OMV AG (OMV.VI), which is the majority shareholder.
