The debt transfer was decided, by draft law, in the government meeting held Wednesday.
Romania and the European Investment Bank, or EIB, concluded in 1997 a loan agreement for EUR35 million. The money was given to RADET for rehabilitation and upgrade works.
One year later, a new contract was concluded with the Council of Europe Development Bank, or CEDB, for EUR10 million, which was also directed to the RADET project.
