He said some party members are calling for an immediate replacement of some Government ministers, while others plead for granting the current Cabinet another six months and see how it does its job.
Stoica, who is in favor of giving the Cabinet time to apply its austerity plan, said the two sides are quite firm in their respective opinions and it's hard to say what decision would be made Sunday.
Democrat liberal prime minister and party leader Emil Boc meets Sunday with his party's lawmakers, heads of local party branches and the party's MEPs to discuss the Government's austerity plan. It is unclear whether President Traian Basescu, a former leader of the party but who is now formally independent, will attend their meeting.
The meeting will also be attended by the party's lawmakers who voted in favor of the opposition's no-confidences motion earlier this week, and whom party leaders have threatened to oust from the organization.
